Why diagnostics is more than clearing a warning light
A cleared code is not a fixed problem — and that distinction is everything.
Modern vehicles can flag dozens of systems — engine management, ABS, airbag, transmission, emissions, and more — through the OBD port. At Healthbridgev, we connect your car to a professional-grade, multi-brand scanner that reads live sensor data alongside stored and pending fault codes. We then cross-reference each code against your model's technical service bulletins to distinguish a genuine fault from a known sensor glitch. You receive a written diagnostic report detailing every code found, what system it refers to, our interpretation, and our recommended action. You are never charged for work you haven't approved. The diagnostic report itself costs a flat fee — clearly stated when you book.

Our diagnostic equipment covers the full OBD-II protocol suite plus manufacturer-specific protocols for brands including Volkswagen Group, BMW Group, Stellantis, Renault-Nissan, Toyota, Ford, and Hyundai-Kia. For electric and hybrid vehicles we carry out additional high-voltage system checks and battery-state-of-health assessments. We are transparent about the limits of independent diagnostics: for certain deep programming functions — ECU flashing, immobiliser pairing, and some ADAS calibrations — dealer-specific tools may still be required, and we will tell you honestly if that is the case rather than charge you for something we cannot fully complete.
